You are in for a treat when you visit our city parks. Offering a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities, there is a park in our city for every age, ability and occasion. We even have one park just for our four legged friends!

Candy Cane Park is conveniently located off of Interstate 45 close to downtown, and provides fun and activities for all ages. Featuring The Heritage Museum, updated playground equipment, basketball and tennis courts, a walking/jogging trail and covered pavilions, this well-known park is perfect for a family fun day or leisurely stroll. After playing in the park, visit the water park and leisure pool right next door. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the pool as younger kids play in the shallow area with a graduated beach-like entry, and enjoy the play structure with water blasters, getting soaked periodically by the 400 gallon bucket of water. For older children this pool features a 22-foot slide dropping into a 4-foot pool of water.

Carl Barton Jr. Park is the perfect location to plan your next sporting event or enjoy a day of kicking the ball around with your buddies. With 9 baseball fields, 4 softball fields, 9 soccer fields, and a 6-10 mile walking/jogging trail, this park is equipped for action. The park is well-lit, has a covered pavilion with picnic tables, play structures for the kids, a fishing pond, off road multi-purpose trail and lots of parking!

Heritage Place Park, featuring many annual festivals and our Summer Concert Series, is in the heart of downtown Conroe and is capable of accommodating many other outdoor events as diverse as public gardening, crafts and cooking fairs, and wedding receptions.
